People have known he's been the real deal ever since he got jobbed in the Judah and Alexander fights. I've been a Maidana fan for awhile because of his grit, but even I've acknowledged Matthysse is basically a better version of Maidana.

i find it hillarious how he rips on people dick riding Luscious Lucas, when he and a handful of others were pretty much doing the same thing after Garcia KTFO A Mere Con.

If Garcia comes in with the gameplan to box, I think he will be able to weather the storm and beat Matthaysse.

 

Matthysse will make Garcia his personal cabin boy.

And don't act like Matthysse is a hypejob, because he isn't. He's proven he's the goods on the world stage against very good fighters.

Not sure what Lucas brings to the table that Garcia doesn't? While Lucas has a little more power, Garcia is the better boxer with faster hands.

 

it would be a very good fight. alota people are counting garcia out. but i cant really decide on a winner but they belong in the ring with eachother. there deff the 2 best at 140.

 

Hell no Mathysse-Garcia would be the new Chavez-Rosario. Lucas too active and would just break him down while Garcia only throws a bomb at a time. A classic tho. Can't wait for this one. Wishing for Mathysse-Guzman, Maidana, Alvarado, possibly Khan. Its Lucas time!

 

While I'm a Mathysse fan, I'm not a ***, so I won't be calling him Luscious Lucas. Mathysse is like a force of nature at 140. Garcia is better that people think, though. I don't think this fight would be a walk in the park for either man. I'd favor Mathysse, though.

 

Yes. He is a great counter-puncher. Thats the style to beat Matthysse. It would be a fantastic fight.
