Where are you getting these from? I was certainly exaggerating Stevens to make a point, but he IS tiny. Golovkin is 100% 5'9. He was ousted as that vs Macklin. Has he grown nearly 2 inches in his late twenties?
All sources i've seen say GGG is 5'10" or 5'11". Boxrec and Wiki say Macklin is 5'10" and Stevens 5'7". Pic of Macklin and GGG...http://static.boxrec.com/wiki/1/16/Macklingolovkinweighin.jpg
No, nothing alike, but Abraham did basically end Taylors career by almost putting him in a coma, a past it Taylor yes, but thats a much, much, much better result than anything Golovkin has done Oh yeah... Im really sure Kovalev was afraid to spar Golovkin :yep thats called hyping up a friend
George Groves is not a nobody, he wasn't before the fight, and he certainly isn't now (Already holds a pro win over an Olympic Gold medallist)
I am aware Golovkin offered a fight to TO but what you fail to acknowledge is that the offer was for 164 which he damn well knew TO couldn't make considering TO has problems making SMW. I'm not going to do the work for you, Golovtard. There are plenty of links in the first three pages of Google that will prove he ducked him when he refused the 164 offer. The only people makings things up are you and the rest of the ******s who worship the ground that he walks and believe everything he says is nothing but truth. I can already hear whats going through yours and the rest of the Golovtards heads: "but, but, but Golovkin said he would fight anyone from 154 to 168:|". I never seen such a deluded and pathetic fanbase.
Froch was knocked down and outboxed for many rounds against former middleweight Jermaine Taylor (who didn't seem to punch as hard as GGG does). GGG might be up to 3 inches shorter than Froch but many shorter boxers have been successful (Pacquiao, Mayweather, Tyson etc). Boxing has weight divisions not height divisions. Even though he is very strong, Froch's fight night weight isn't particularly big for a SMW. I don't think the size difference would be much of a factor.
Explain me how Froch is too big for GGG when he was 172 on a night with Bute and GGG was 170 on a night with Stevens? And their reach is almost identical. So is it about height difference or what?
I looked at the first pages of google and didn't find anything to support your point, mate. And why you are being so aggressive? Did I by any means show any disrespect to you or your statement? It was an honest question without an agenda and you fail to answer it properly and instead start to show immaturity or pathetic trolling skills.
I was daft enough to check as well (he brought the same idea up/ invented it in another thread), even though I didn't remember anything like that at the time. I actually did it cos I was genuinely interested, but hey... It appears Kas is just making stuff up cos...well - I don't even know why. Do you actually think that you're going to --what? deprive GGG of 1 or 2 online fans Kas? Anyone who even knows who Tommy is, is also enough of a boxing head to check the facts. And so very angry too...how odd.:verysad
Take in the size of opposition for starters, could you see GGG against Pascal any time soon? How about Hopkins? What about GGG vs Karo Murat? In fact, GG would beat GGG if they were to fight next month
If he can spar with Kovalev and KO Bute in the amateurs why not? Who would have thought Pacquiao would fight and beat Margarito and De La Hoya? David Haye fought Valuev. James Toney and Roy Jones Jr went from MW to HW.
Well I saw GGG at 75kg (165.4 lbs) against Dirrell and Bute in the ams and he looked more than just ok. So what's your point?
with a body shot perhaps. Froch has a serious recovery rate. And at the heavier weight it would be a bold prediction. But on skills I suspect he could.
