Ward neutralizes GGG's power, in particular his unusual sweeping right hand power shot. GGG also seems to have a lot of power with his short shots inside, but I think Ward nullifies him at that range as well.

I don't know that golovkin beats ward but he definitely presents ward with his toughest challenge.

golovkin as of right now is another Bute.....but fighting dudes that aren't as good as the guys Bute was KTFO'ing so actually not close to as impressive. Usually when fighters spend so long fighting bums they get a rude awakening when they face their first live body. Verdicts still out on GGG, he has yet to fight one good opponent. he hasn't done **** yet to convince me he's able to beat Sergio let a lone Ward.

Well, he KO'd Bute in the amatuers so he's not really "another Bute." We will find out the answers in upcoming fights. I suspect GGG will be crushing some of the respected fighters out there. Ward, however, appears to be a GREAT fighter already, really a "traditional" light heavyweight, and should move up to 175 and take Dawson's title there to get some better competition.

    Ward:

    - Froch
    - Dawson
    - Kessler
    - Abraham
    - Bika
    - Miranda
    - Green

    GGG:
    - Proksa

    Yeah, GGG totally takes him.

Hell, you could make a case for every boxer on Ward's list being better than Proksa. Poll result is a ****ing embarrassment to ESB.

As our friend Dwyer3168461550180845 would say - and consider this an opinion from a complete stranger online - and ambush fighter is the best medicine against Warditis, and GGG's short compact size and ability to land incredibly well timed knockout shots with extreme accuracy would pose Oakland major problems. Thinking about it, outboxing Ward is a no go, outslugging would end up Dre turning it an ugly inside affair. But GGG has the ability to time anyone coming outside in as well as cut down the ring and hit through anybody's guard, style-wise he might have the best chance of beating SOG around these divisions, and I'd still favor Ward.
