that is what i'm talking about, you guys are completely overlooking gomez.

cotto's team are doing the same, this is a stupid fight, he has everything to lose and nothing to gain.

I like Gomez. Reality TV or not the guy is a warrior.

Cotto is very likely to be to much for him though.

If old ass Ben Tackie had him backing off for the last four rounds in their fight a few months ago just think about what Cotto will do to him in those last few rounds.

Wasn't Ben Tackie's best weight bellow 147 also?

This is A Masaratti vs. A Camry guys very simple.

I like Gomez by the way but you are comparing lobster to canned tuna.

HELL YEAH HE CAN, THAT'S WHY IM SCARED SHITLESS....gomez aint no ****en pushover...

he is a tough mo'fo that has came along way since his shot at the contender......now 13 pounds lighter and some sharpened up skills, he's definately a threat...

Stop with this nonsense, Gomez doesn't have a prayer. Cotto could beat Gomez without even training.

Cotto will not take Gomez lightly, therefore he will win.

i think gomez can surprise alot of people. i dont think he will win, but he will be competative.

cotto grinds him down to a late stoppage or ud.

but gomez will put his name on the map as a serious contender.

Might be worth a speculative bet on Gomez then.

To be honest, yes.... if Cotto comes in like the chop chop fight again, looking to impress and steam roll a completely overmatched opponent, gomez may be hungry enough and big enough to make this a very interesting matchup. If Cotto comes in buisness as usual... i dont see what gomez brings that will get him over the hump... cotto should be too good.

unfortunately my bookie is **** and Gomez is 8/1

basically i've broken it down and the way the bookies have it its.

    Cotto chances to win 87%
    Gomez chances to win 10%
    Chances for a draw 3%

I give Gomez just about as much of a chance against Cotto as I gave Gatti against Floyd. I'm dead serious too.

Well anything can happen. I hope Cotto take care of business so he could keep his sock up.
