If Cotto doesnt end the fight inside of 2 rounds, then I would be largely dissapointed.

    anything can happen

Cotto was in trouble with Collazo and that guy only had what 3 weeks notice, if Collazo had a full training camp to prepare, he would have taken Cotto out.

If Cotto is overlooking gomez, he could loose and a loss would be hard to bounce back from. The way its looking now is PBF fights DLH in sept and dlh may or may not fight Cotto, but PBF-Cotto should be set for 2009. If cotto looses to oscar, I think he still gets the pbf fight, If he looses to gomez i think he gets neither fight for a while.

This would be 10x the upset Douglas' win was. Maybe not with the bookies, but it seems logically ~impossible.

Gomez might put up a fight, but he wont pull a Buster Douglas. He is nowhere near as big of an underdog as douglas was.

I heard clubs wernt even giving odds they were so big.

Totally agree. Cotto isn't an inconsistent performer either. He is very professional in how he trains and approaches every fight, and i have no doubt that this will be no exception.

I expect a methodical/systematic beatdown. I respect Gomez, but he's going to get busted up big time.

Gomez is a tough kid that will take risks, If Cotto is smart and boxes and moves he will win but Gomez will want to make it a war

Forbes beating DLH has a better chance of happening than Cotto losing to Gomez

Gomez does not have much of a chance, but anything can happen boxing.
