ye, but what about Grant? Will he pick the agressive style or defensive one relying on his long arms?
I'm not a real boxing fan because I won't root for your boy Adamek? Adamek doesn't have the size to touch the Klitschko's so him going further is useless. Only people that give the Klitschko's problems are big men. Hell Wlad's toughest fight in years was Thompson for God's sake atsch
His Chin is overrated at heavyweight Arreola had him hurt and if he landed cleaner punches or been in shape he would have kod Adamek. That being said no Grant dont have much of a chance hes not even a top 40 heavyweight and his chin sucks. Adamek will win easy and everybody will be saying how awesome he is:-(
No way, there will always be someone belittling his all achievements, so calm down and dont let it bother u. Still everybody knows its stay busy fight after 12 hard rounds with Arreola. Pff, even Adamek himself told its 'stay busy' fight to acustome better to HW. Besides, it might be quite entertaining and give some look-out for next fights. Arreola didnt shattered Adamek even once in this fight, i recommend u to watch it again without commentary.
To be fair there were at least a couple of moments when Arreola tagged Adamek and it definitely hurt him.
ive watched that fight many times and 'to be fair' i didnt notice any moment Adamek gets hurt. However i might be wrong but i would like to see those moments. Could you point them out? here is the link (in parts) where you can indicate exact time when adamek got hurt. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH6hLMoZ69I[/ame]
Thats why lennox lewis got fired , He poisons fans brains with his bull**** and now they think adamek was hurt on a couple of occasions against CHrisy atsch Which is totally false, seen the fight like 5 times, he wasnt stuned even once. Being Off-balance pushed by 300 pounds whale doesnt equal being hurt.
He can, but it will be very difficult. Grant will need to have two things firing well - his jab and his straight right. It's imperative that he keeps Adamek at arm's length and not let him dictate with his own jab; Adamek loves doubling and tripling it up then following with a right hand. Grant needs to use his long arms to keep Adamek away, because up close the smaller man's much better hand speed could exploit openings in much the way Guinn did. If that jab can get going consistantly, then the straight right is the other important thing. It can knock Adamek back when he tries to close and inflict better damage than the jabs from a distance. He'll need to be sharp with it for counter opportunities. Grant will need to play it patient, his conditioning was always his best asset and he's still been in great shape in years gone by. He shouldn't try to rush in, and trying to engage close up would also be a bad idea in my eyes. Adamek's a tough guy and throwing it all out in hopes for a stoppage win is a big risk for Grant. I hope Muhammad got in good sparring. Grant will need to be sharp, a lot sharper than he was when he fought Marinaccio for instance.
He could, never say never especially at heavyweight! Grants has not looked good in recent years even though he has been winning. You just never know I have seen situations like this before where a guy looks mediocre and then gets another big fight and shines so who knows..
An upset is always possible, especially with a power punching guy like Grant who is on a winning streak. That said, it is unlikely. But possible.
