Not only are a lot of guys Froch has defeated harder punchers than Groves, they are also better boxers, so I would say it is very unlikely.

I like Groves, i think he developing well, and is looking strong but I think this comes a bit early for him

I heard Froch has beat Groves up in sparring

Anyone know how Groves sparring with Kessler went ?

Froch will be too tough, too hard, and too savvied for Groves. I think Groves gives him a good fight though.

I've got Groves in this one! His head movement is epic! You're forgetting the Hearn factor as well! If it goes to the score cards Groves would of no doubt taken the points win based on skill but...... With Froch maybe having 1 fight left after this Groves the new star could get the decision based on his future

I think Groves could pull it off as well. I don't think he would stop Froch but he is certainly strong and has the talent and ability to out box him.

Bute hits harder and had a lot a KO against good opposition to show it.

Also, Stevenson, champion at 175, still is a 168 guy. Let's not get over our head here guy. Plus, eventhough Grove looked good against his opposition, Froch, who is older and not in his prime, have faced elite fighter : Pascal, Kessler x2, Ward, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham. The best Grove can bring, Froch have probably seen it already being executed more perfectly.

Groves is looking at the Johnson factor imo.
I think he's in for a big shock once he realises he doesn't have the firepower to keep Froch at bay.
I like Groves, but i think Froch will ruin him.

yeah ... I've heard that Floch is only half Brit with a significant genetic enhancements
to his chin coming from eastern Europe ... that hybrid make this mutant chin arguably uncrackable

Kessler had Frochs legs doing a funny dance in the 10th round in there rematch.....honestly i feel that Groves will pull off the upset here.

Where has all this talk of groves being in the p4p big hitters come from....He can pop but its nothing froch hasn't already faced.

Groves will panic when he lands clean on froch's chin and froch just walks through it

    Froch KO round 8
