Honestly jokes aside, they're both tough, gutsy fighters at there weight and the mouth piece wasn't Nelsons fault. I don't have a bad word to say about Zooma (As a fighter) he faced the best guys around and never had a lacklustre schedule.

He was done in boxing as soon as he became a star which was before the Barrera fight.
And I like Marco but that wasn't the best of the Prince and you know it.
I don't think Naz ever truly liked boxing he was just very good at it and made alot of money through it.

Would love to see how he would fare with LaPorte.

It's really a question of styles. Like most back foot Fighters, especially those from the Ingle gym, Hamed was a sucker for a feint. That's how Barrera beat him. Trigger and counter. If you walk him down he'll take your head off.
Sanchez would take Hamed apart but Danny Lopez is made for him.
I actually think the immediate pre and post war Feathers were the best and toughest and I think Hamed would really struggle in that era.

He was done when he started fighting the best in the division, and came out from under the umbrella of the WBO,his career has many parallels with Eubanks Snr,imo. I confess I couldn't stand him, either as a fighter or as a person. The money I got from betting on Barrera was just about the sweetest I ever made!

Sanchez was more skilled than Hamed who never beat anyone even near Sanchez`s level and he was floored twice by Kelly before going on to be out-classed by Barrera, he never proved he was a great fighter, Sanchez`s wins over Gomez and Nelson trump anything on Hamed`s record.

Nonsense, look at his punches they have exactly the same speed they always had, Barrera was by far Hamed`s toughest test and he failed.

Terrific puncher, great showmen, he may beat Lopez, Laporte guys like that but he loses to Sanchez, Gomez, Nelson. The first one that beats him and he retires.

Do you recall his fight with Augie Sanchez? Augie came to fight and almost upset the apple cart. Prince was a character but I'm not sure he had any character.

I remember Stevie Robinson who was beating everything in England and having a great run.
He signed to fight Naz and he got TORN UP.
    He couldn't even touch Naz.
Tom Johnson reigned for 5 years. Never was stopped. Until he met Naz. Got stopped inside the distance.
Manuel Medina got stopped by Naz. Went on to actually win the title 2 more times AND also beat Harrison.
Paul Ingle was a good fighter. Got stopped by Naz and latter went on to win the title.
Cesar Soto just beat Espinosa. Met Naz latter that year and lost.

I couldn't stand Naz to be honest. Hated him but even I could see he was incredibly talented with a tremendous punch and an awkward style.
He would be a danger for almost anyone based on his power alone. Now throw in blazing speed and a southpaw style and you have a nightmare.

He would beat a couple of those guys, like Danny Lopez, and Rocky Lockridge, but Sanchez, LaPorte, Nelson, Gomez, Pedroza, Castillo beat him up.

Lord, I would have LOVED to have seen him vs Wilfrdo Gomez, who Bolivianizes him.

Johnson was badly hurt in the fight just before his fight v Naz I can remember Naz laughing in the crowd, Medina was giving Naz all he could handle before getting stopped in the 11th round, Daniel Alicea floored Naz before being stopped in the 2nd round. Robinson`s record was:
    Total fights 51
    Wins 32
    Wins by KO 17
    Losses 17
    Draws 2
He challenged for the European featherweight title on 3 February 1997, against the holder Billy Hardy, but was beaten on points.

    As a
You clearly have a dislike of Hamed and here you are being disingenuous by not stating that the majority of Robinson`s losses were before early in his career. In fact by the time he fought Naz he had only lost once in his previous 13 fights.Plus the fact that the fighters he beat were of the calibre of Duke McKenzie,Colin McMillan and Paul Hodkinson. Also do not down play what a fine fighter Manuel Medina was.Like a previous poster i had no time for Naz as a person i found him to be very arrogant but lets not use that to cloud our opinion of him as a boxer
