I think Hatton could beat Cintron. If Jesse Feliciano can pressure Cintron and bother him like that, image what Hatton could do? On the other hand, there's a good chance Hatton get get KTFO too.

I don't see him beating any of those guys. He showed that he can not compete at 147. Against Collazo people used the excuse that he was a lefty and too big etc. All those guys are too big and too strong for him. Only big name 147 pounder I would give him a chance against is Judah and that's because Judah has looked like **** latley.

Hatton has to get his self confidence back again but he may not have many fights left the way he performs with such intensity. Grab that big fight with Hoya or Shane cause they don't have the legs he still has. Fight Clottey and beat him like Urango, or fight Mallignaggi and knock him out in the States ... He should not risk against Witter though, and Cotto can well counterpunch him heavily like he did to Shane... Williams and Margo are completely out of the question.

Your right about the size issue:good I was surprised how small hatton looked against floyd in the ring, Floyd looked the naturally bigger fighter, ricky def. should go back to 140, 147 is too big for him

I can't believe that you guys think that Hatton would beat Cintron. If you think that he looked small against Floyd. Oficially Cintron has a 7 inch reach advantage and a 5 inch heigh advantage. Ricky could probably spread his arms wide open and still sit inside Kermit's chest. Combine that with the fact that Cintron has 1 punch KO power and that Ricky is not exactly hard to hit and that spells KO

I think Ricky would lose at 140 also. Paulie and witter has the speed to make him slow and Witter would knock him out. It's not the weight it is the skills that matter and Paulie would beat him UD 12 and Witter would KO him in 8.

margo would tear him a new *******........as would cotto.

    and probably williams.

cintron you never know cause he has a dog in him.......so maybe, just maybe hatton has a tiny chance of winning.
but more likely cintron would knock his head off.

    mosley would stop him too.

and there are quite a few others i´d pick over hatton. he is just too mediocre.

Not sure.....Hatton belongs @ 140 and his camp stated this. They said since Mayweather is not a big welterweight himself, it's a different story, but he'd be pretty badly outsized against the likes of Cintron and Margarito.

he's not a WW but he beats everyone at 140, and not because it's a weaker division, because he's still the man at 140. witter would probably be his toughest fight at 140 but he still beats him.

Hattons style requires a certain physical dominance over his opponent, naturally that means that the higher up the weight divisions he goes the less effective he will be. Pressure fighters like he do not adapt as well as pure boxers.

Isn't Cotto only an inch taller than Hatton? Wouldn't he have the same problems going against the taller WW's?

Paulie has the skills to keep Hatton on the outside. If Paulie boxes and not brawl like he did against Cotto then I can see Paulie beating Hatton. Everybody stands a chance in a fight. The only thing that Hatton has over Paulie is power. I think Paulie has the skills to beat Hatton that doesn't mean he'll do it but I wouldn't count him out saying he has no chance and look how Hatton does against fighters that boxes(Collazo and PBF).
