Doesn't need to avoid Chagaev. Make that **** happen since Wlad has bigger fish to fry. :verysad Chagaev looks about done on the top level though.
if the dude gots hepatitis or HIV or watev. i dont think the fight should happen if thats true. didnt haye say he is not fighting untill summer anyway.
unless chagaev can win purse bid eveytime which he wont cause hes not got good market value then any title shot he gets will have this problem and it is HIS problem WBA need to make a decision on this guy its stupid
No, we just know Haye will try to put as many Farthings in the bank he can before everybodys gets sick of him...
Haye and his mandatory Looks at the unavailable opponents and what is wrong with the rankings. David really can't win thanks to the WBA.
First off, Chagaev has Hepatitus B....not AIDS, not cancer or anything else you morons want to try to equate it to. He has chronic Hep B. There exists vaccinations for it. Yes, Klitschko had no problem fighting him, Meehan didn't have any problem with it, Carl Drummond didn't whine about it. Seems only fighters attached to Sauerland have a problem.....because they're not to confident in beating him? Valuev ducked him because he didn't want to get a simple vaccination and Sauerland bought the title for him by staging the fight in Finland, mind you the boxing commision was going to let the fight go ahead if Valuev was vaccinated. Sauerland of course was not going let that happen. Valuev even ducked Meehan on the same night Sauerland will pull the same thing again so Haye can duck his mandatory challenger unless the WBA can somehow intervene
There's nothing to "avoid" in Chagaev. Even Wlad and Steward themselves admitted this fight would prove nothing for Haye as Chagaev looked **** against Meehan and Walker and was humiliated by one-armed Wladimir. If Haye's not intending to fight Klitschko, he should go for the likes of Povetkin, Adamek or Chambers.
He probably can avoid him, but I don't think he wants to. Sure he doesn't want to fight (even the current version of) Ruslan, because he's still the best opponent he ever faced in HW. But the alternative seems to be even worse for Haye. Next on the (better than before) WBA list is the division's "crown prince" Boytsov, who is quite a puncher who seems to have decent skills and a decent chin to go with it. Haye's biggest nightmare... Not a big name yet (so not much money to make), dangerous, unbeaten, young, never been down, likes to come forward, isn't afraid to get hit, so everything Haye doesn't like in a opponent in one package! :scaredas: I think Haye takes the alternative and choses to fight Chag anyway... Or the WBA gives him a way out and feeds him Holyfield, Meehan or Rahman.
Not anymore... He was injured, but KO'd his overmatched opponent in his comback fight after his hand surgery, so looks to be allright now. Or he is injured again, but I have heard nothing about that.
