Great thread man, and I see exactly where you're coming from. Wlad is like Floyd in a sense, which is do just enough to get by and win without putting yourself in harms way. To be fair that's what boxing is about, even though this often leads to dull fights. The re: Hatton is a great one, as one other poster rightly said, Hatton forced Floyd into a fight, he closed distance well, threw a lot of shots and basically made Floyd fight and work, which I agree, brought out the best in Mayweather. Haye has speed and hunger, he'll also force the issue and take Wlad out of his comfort zone, so this is where we will see if he really is a champion, as being a champ it's expected that he can adapt and overcome these adversaties... that's what being champ is all about right? Only major difference I see here between these two fights is that this one could end in the first couple of rounds with either man victorious, as both are pretty murderous punchers... I have a feeling Haye at HW will be more powerful that Wlad though...cant wait to find out to be honest!
I agree that Collazo is the better of the two p4p definately, but the contrast in performances is epic. Haye I feel will fair much better at 200+ than Hatton did at 147, especially as he's a natural 220 or around that figure anyway.
