http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xb5pKSMt7UE With 1 minute to go, Brewster lands one decent jab and it totally throws Wlad off. Then one more big punch and he is ****ed. Perhaps Wlad is better now than he was then. But Haye is much much much better than Brewster agreed??? I hope Haye is working on his stanima, if he keeps busy and takes Wlas into the last 8 rounds, Wlad will drop his hands and bang Haye can nail him.
Sorry. That part I don't agree with. However, I do see some slight similarities in the way they go on the attack.
Hayes best chance is to come storming out of his corner like what Lloyd Honeyghan did against that guy Haye has to let the bell go ding and his right hand go dong. Wlad suffers from panic attacks when put under alot of pressure or beuing hit with a lot of hard punches so Haye has to come storming out try to get Wlad in the corner and let loose with a 2 fisted barrage of punches . Wlad will then panic and seize up trying to hold and not thinking, this is hayes chance as he has to really throw the bombs at this point maybe bringing up some uppercuts then he should have KOd him. That is his best chance. he can win in another way but theres no way hes going to outbox hima nd win on points he needs to go for broke early and Adam Booth seems to be a sound tacticain and he will probably if he is wise follow the strategy i outlined. Haye is better than Brewster but he isnt as big or as powerful IMO but he has enough of a dig to KO Wladimr. Also we havent really seen what Haye can achieve so arguably Brewster is the more accomplished Heavyweight. Haye should work on his stamina like you said but i think he should work on throwing like 50 punches all at once so his anaerobic system needs to be in top condition. As i said before i dont see him winning late on in the fight. You are saying later on in the fight Wlad tends to get careless and drop his hands etc... like he did agaisnt Brewster but the Wlad that fought Brewster has improved and is very cautious and hardly makes a mistake like againt Tony Thompson he hardly put a foot wrong technically he was perfect. This fight depends on if haye can bomb Wlad out early and how compose Wlad is we know he can follow a gameplan but Haye has really insulted him and he might be angry with Haye. If Wlad is upset i think we might see the more careless Wlad of old who was an offensive machine but made alot of defensive mistakes and could be hit and this version of Wlad makes the fight a complete toss up on who lands first. To cut it short (i know this post is long) i could anaylse this fight in a hundred different ways and get different conclusions each time then anaylse it again and get even more different ones. Its a very good fight but let me say this the smart money is on Wladmir
To be frankly, Klitschko is completely exhausted before Brewster gets him. He completely gassed. Nevertheless he took Brewster best shot without going down. I doubt, that Haye needs only one flush shot to win.
good point but lets say if wlad and Haye come steaming at each othe they will both be reckless and the damge will be a lot more than normal also watch the Sanders fight people Sanders had to hit him with afew
Haye would have zero chance vs. Corrie Sanders. Vlad will have no trouble with Haye. It could be somewhat like Vitali Vs. Hide, or it could go to mid rounds, Vlad by knockout. Vlad's chin is fight, good defense, really good stamina, great power, great skills, etc.
Haye is way more talented than Lamon Brewster and Corrie Sanders imo, cant see how you can think otherwise. Obviously theres still doubts about what he will be like at heavyweight but i think its pretty obvious he has more talent. Haye to destroy Wlad in 3
MBE Haye maybe more talented than them guys but they are bigger and arguably tougher and bigger punchers. HOYA Wladimir is a sheep in wolves clothing also RP thanks for the Sanders fight you really see Wlad freeze up in taht fight
I cannot see this fight going beyond 4 rounds......Whoever gets the Big Guns off first wins this and I fancy Haye to KO Wlad in the 4th...:happy:happy
The only worrying thing from that video is that I think Haye may not have been able to take the 1-2s that Wlad threw early in the round, even though they weren't flush I just can't see Haye being anywhere near as resilient as Brewster.
Wlad has become much more cautious recently, nowadays he doesnt throw 1-2s till about the 6th round just jabs away up till then. If he didint jump on Rahman when Rahman was gassed and lying on the ropes begging for the canvas he will have a panic attack when Haye starts throwing bombs.
