Or will he be felled by The big man's first real shot?

That is kind of a dumb question. A solid clean shot from a heavyweight means KO.

Peter didn't soak up solid shots. He ate jackhammer jabs and hard punches but they were'n solid shots.

So do you mean a hard punch or a solid shot, to me a solid shot would be right on the button. That would mean lights out.

ok, i mean a good punch but not your best punch, like a stiff shot that rocks the head back but not full strength power punch

No. But with Haye's speed and skill, Vitali will struggle to even land a decent jab:)

I don't think Haye can take much from Vitali.

But I think Vitali can take anything Haye can land.

If Haye (or most anyone else for that matter) gets hit flush with a big hard shot from a 6'8 240 something lbs boxer, they will go down.

I don't think Haye's punch resistance is exactly stellar. He's going to have to be careful in there, use his speed to win and not get dragged into a slug-out.

I think Haye can land enough on Vitali to stop Vitali. Perhaps not a straight unconscious type knock out, but a ref stoppage or a cut stoppage TKO.

I think that Haye could probably take a few good shots from Vitali, but he would be ****ed when it comes to accumulation over a sustained period. If Vitali gets the jab ramming home consistently I think it spells the end for Haye.

I would not expect Haye to KO Vitali, but I do think he could steady him and make him wary/cautious of the power.

Due to his extra speed and mobility (his reflex reaction is probably better as well) I would expect Haye to be more often in a position to land big power shots; Vitali will probably have to work off the jab for a few rounds, and if that works well, take Haye out in the middle or later rounds.

I wouldn't expect Haye to be caught with a full blown arm extension power shot from Vitali; if he was it would be lights out time.

guys to you think there is a slight possibility that vitali can not pull the trigger anymore (in the words of the great roach lol)
i mean i know peter is 1 hard MOFO with a solid ass head, but think about it
    everything does add up

Haye will be dropped 1 or 2 times in this fight....His chin is suspect ESPECIALLY AT HW
