Can Haye withstand a solid shot by vitali?

The first solid shot will spell the beginning of the end for Haye if he don't get dropped outright. Even if his chin is better with the extra weight it still is bad. I can see Klitchko freezing up Haye with a decient shot and moving in quickly for the kill. A overwhelmed Haye will meet his end ala Kirk Johnson against the ropes unable to defend himself and nowhere to run.

 

Thats what makes the heavys so unique and this is why Marcianos record is so prestigous.

Haye will be able to ship some punishment but obviously Klitshcko has the fire power to stop Haye, who will have to fight a very sensible fight in order to pull this off. I'd rather him have gone after Wlad - he's chosen the harder fight in my opinion.

 

Mormeck gave Haye an even fight in what was basically a punch contest.

So just imagine what Vitali will do.

Haye likes to go toe to toe, and I tip my hat to him, he is exciting as hell to watch.

But Vitali can punch like a mother****er and possesses staggering physical strength and an iron chin.

So unless Haye turns into 1967 Ali and decides to fight an outside fight with a fantastic left jab and great boxing, he is ****ed.

Maybe he will take one or two shots, but the first right or left hook that Vitali lands clean is going to hurt Haye. And the accompanying punches behind it will take him out.

 

If Haye tries to go toe to toe with Vitali then he'll probably come off worse for wear.

If he applies the sweet science then Vitali may spend 12 rounds chasing shadows.
