I don't think he can. Age will affect his performances soon. His experience is getting him far and he is a great fighter, but age has to be a factor soon. For a man 44 years old he is in incredible shape.
No way. If he is fighting beltholders at LHW and Cruiser in two years he is going to go down hard sooner or later. Adamek would be a tough tough fight.
I wouldn't put it past him. Athletes nowadays are able to perform at a high level at a very old age. Modern medicine and techniques does wonders.
If Hopkins had more of a punch then yes. He's an effective and hurtful puncher, but no matter how good he is his reflexes will dwindle. He can fight top-tier opponents as long as they're chosen well.
B-Hop is still the only man to stop Johnson, and at MW also. There's no need for a rematch. Hopkins could fight Valuev. What a way to end a career, and would also annoy the Hell outta Roy probably, which is what Hopkins would like to do. We know how bitter he is that he never got a rematch, how better than taking on an even BIGGER (in size if maybe not 'class' if you can call it that) challenge than Ruiz. Still, would need to stay away from the top guys. As canny as Hop is, a jab from either Klitschko would kill him.
Even if he puts on a masterful performance and is fighter of the year in 2009, 50 is a long ways away.
