    Why would he? :huh

Joe has said that in his oppinion Kelly is just another upcoming fighter screaming for attention and that he doesn't need to fight him. If Pavlik loses to Hopkins (who Joe already beat) that will prove that Joe was right. And Joe will not gain anything from fighting Kelly.

If Kelly however wins over Hopkins THEN Joe may gain something from fighting Kelly and THEN it will happen. But if Kelly loses to Hopkins, there is no reason why Joe should bother with Kelly.

Would you deny that Hopkins cheated by taking time out by exaggerating the effect of 'low blows'.

It was a close fight which could be scored for Hopkins. But only because he held, headbutted and blatantly cheated.

Hopkins should have been disqualified :deal

Maybe he will be against Pavlik and he'll be exposed for being the dirty cheating criminal that he is.

People said Hopkins had slipped so far from his peak in that Calzaghe fight that Calzaghe gets little credit for going to the USA for the first time, fighting a spoiling, dirty, crafty fighter and winning after being knocked down in the first.
If Hopkins beats Pavlik and you dont think it enhances Calzaghe's reputation is this because you dont rate Pavlik as a good fighter?

Joe Cortez is an american fighters dream, he doesnt let an outclassed ricky hatton fight and does the reverse by letting hopkins get away with his dirty tactics against calzaghe. He is a home town ref who is losing the plot.

Calzaghe beat Hopkins pretty clearly. What's controversial is the idea that the decision is controversial.

When Hopkins knocks out Pavlik in less than 6 rounds, people will all of the sudden start to believe that Hopkins has somehow been revitalized and found the fountain of youth and that the Calzaghe fight was a fluke and call for a rematch. On the very outside, slim chance that a rematch happens, Calzaghe will end up beating him even more decisively. So it is written.

Yes his stock should rise, anyone saying any different is insane. If Pavlik KO'd Bhop in the 4th round you better believe this forum would be overrun with people saying "look,Pav destroyed a man Calzaghe went the distance with a few months ago, hes far better than Calzaghe, and would destroy him".

But most of the people on this forum are insane so even if Bhop sparks Pav in the 4th(which ive gone for) they would rather turn on Pav than give any credit to Joe.

If Joe cured Cancer, theyd say he ducked Aids.
