it CAN be made, but it won't because one of them will price themselves out of the fight....

 

it doesn't make sense right now. hopkins is "hot" after the pavlik win and as you can tell by reading posts here jones is perceived as 'shot.' the fight won't sell that well right now and hopkins would be demanding a big slice. as i wrote elsewhere i'm in the minority in thinking that jones ain't "shot" (yes he has 'lost a step') but he would have some work to do to be able to sell a big fight. hopkins should be trying for a fight that would sell around lhw/smw and that ain't jones. jones should probably call it a day, but if not he's gonna have to do something htat would get the average fan thinking he's not shot and that'll be hard to do and he probably doesn't want to try.

 

Who does Hopkins fight then ?I would like to see him fight the winner of the Dawson rematch ..
