Khan has learnt to step out quicker with Roach

He got caught by a big puncher, honestly, Prescott would still be a problem even today, Khan still leaves himself open and he does NOT have the length advantage to protect him.

When you fight a Colombian fighter, what's the first thing you think of even if it isn't always the case? You think puncher. Khan didn't feel Prescott out, and he stood right in front of a puncher. He did not move at all. That's why I want to see a rematch. I want to see if Khan solved the style of being able to beat an aggressive, taller guy.

Amir was WEIGHT-DRAINED simple as that. That left jab thrown by Prescott around .35 wobbled him and that's the result if you're drained your body will be too weak to absorb punches. I mean think about it, Maidana landed some shots in the 10th that would knock everybody out but Khan was able to survive the onslaught but a simple Jab would wobble him? Take a Look at this:

Exactly. Some guys get intimidated by guys bigger than them. Khan being drained is an excuse. Fighting for a title and being kod in 1:33 of round 1 does not tell us the story that Khan was drained.

Bull****. A simple Jab wobbled him at .35 and he's not weight-drained? WTF? You mean to say Prescott's jab is stronger than Maidana's power punched? :dead

LOL@people saying the weight draining was an excuse, Khan's a massive 140lber, one of the biggest I've ever seen easily, how the **** he even made 135 without cutting off a limb I don't know.

I mean all you have to do is look at his stint at 135 and compare it to recently to come to the conclusion he was drained. He's just stood up to some hard counters from a proven world class puncher in Judah in his last fight, wheras at 135 he was getting dropped and troubled by Willie ****ing Limond for **** sake.

It doesn't take a ****ing rocket scientist to realise this. His conditioning used to be absolutely atrocious, just look at the size of his legs compared to now too.

He was NOT wobbled by the jab, the left hook made him lose his legs, even before that Prescott had landed some nice body shots.

As for his stint at 140 he fought 2 guys who could punch, one had him out on his feet but was tired in addition to being slow, and crude. The other bitched out early and quit.

fight night 2004 intro music......like that tune!.

throughout his career before the prescott fight khan struggled with pressure fighters. although prescott isnt a typical pressure fighter he came out throwing punches and khan panicked. lost any game plan he had going in and just tried to trade. he became weak mentally from all the over hype in the uk and it manifested into one quick brutal ko. he's a completely different animal now, he has a winners mentality and discipline to carry out a game plan from start to finish.
plus he doesn't have to fight scared now because he know his chin will hold up. i think in the maidana fight he was constantly fearing being ko'd so he rushed things and looked stiff. you could see in the judah fight he was relaxed and more selective with his shots.

i know.... id give limmond ten clean punches on khans face with a pair of margerrittos, gloves and i bet wouldn't knock khan out.

i'll say it again. maidana is the hardest hitter at 140. khan took about 20 hard shots to the chin and he stayed standing... his chin is good!

And both hit him with hard shots and couldn't drop him. Granted Khan was out on his feet for a while in the 10th against Maidana, but he was back throwing punches towards the end of the round and his head was clear enough to win the very next round on the majority of peoples scorecards. Judah hit him with some hard punches before he folded too, particularly a fantastic counter right hook at the end of the first round, right on the chin.

Does that mean Khan won't get stopped ever again?, no... I think he will, maybe not for a while but I can see it. However it's gonna take a sustained beating from a hard puncher to stop him now. Before the 10th Maidana was pressuring him with hard, clean head shots all throughout their fight. Shots that had previously dropped Ortiz in the early rounds.

The blowout against Prescott was an anomaly, due to his inexperience combined with his struggles to make the weight. It's blatantly obvious.
