Is Velazco your big reveal then?

I don’t know how I could have failed to mention him, before now...

...Oh yeah - He was being ‘hidden’ from the debate, such was the weight of influence his record of achievements would bring to bear, in your case for Abraham!!

Not really, no - But, the funny thing is, I vaguely remember him. Although, I didn’t recall him having been a WBO Champ.

Turns out, he was given the belt by default on a technicality and lost it to Sturm, next fight. I guess “former WBO champion” is, strictly speaking, correct and reads better.

Whichever way you look at it, he was no world-beater and hardly a ledger-building scalp.

Humez knocked Scholz down it 2 separate rounds that's 2 rounds out of the 10.Where can we read the fight was controversial or a robbery which papers said so?
Nope I was referring solely to McAvoy, you misunderstood ,not an unusual occurrence!

So in other words Valdes who was short to begin with didn't start out at middle and was past his prime when he fought Monzon. Fact

Same for Brisco. Welterweight. Also short. Noticing a trend :) Brisco also lost
    This content is protected
, and likely beat Monzon once.

Now which of the above is untrue? You remain a joke.

Do I need to address the rest of your nonsense?:nonono

Benvenuti was past his prime. Age is just one indicator. Ask those in the know. You'll see.

    Giardello as low as 152
    All of its untrue actually!

    Valdes was 5'9 1/2"
    Taller than middleweight champions
    Greb
    Ketchel
    Walker
    Dempsey
    Garcia
    Papke
    Klaus
    Graziano
    Lamotta
    Fullmer
    Tiger
    Corro
    Duran
    Abrahams
    Thil
    Zale
    Cerdan
    Basilio
    Downes
    Griffith
    Antuofermo
    Kalmbay
    And our current champ Alvarez!
So above average height for a middleweight champion.

The following middleweight champions began their careers in divisions lower than middle

    Greb under 140
    Walker welter
    Griffith welter
    Steele under 140
    Garcia welter
    Graziano under 150
    Robinson light
    Basilio welter
    Giardello as low as 152
    Antuofermo light middle
    Jackson light middle
    Joppy low as 152
    Leonard welter
    Hearns welter
    McCallum light middle
    Duran light
Alvarez The present champion debuted at 139lbs and fought at welterweight winning the NABF title at that weight before winning the WBC Super Welter ttile and defending it successfully 6 times before losing it to ayweather in his only defeat to date!

Valdes was end of year ranked as follows.
    71 .no5
    72. no2
    74.no1
    75.no1
    76 .no1
    77.Champ!
He fought Monzon Jun 76 and Jul76!
So we can see Valdes steadily improved his ranking till he was number 1 for the last 2 years of Monzon's reign , finally winning the title after Monzon retired.
NB Monzon was nearly 34 when he fought Valdes. Valdes was 4 years younger!
Briscoe only twice made 147lbs in his entire career, for the 8 years before he challenged Monzon he was a full fledged middleweight.
From1970 until 1974 when he fought Valdes for the vacant WBC title Briscoe lost 3 times,a split dec to Luis Vinales, a loss to Valdes, and a loss to Monzon.

NB Briscoe at 5'8" was the same height as Saul Alvarez our current middleweight champion!
I ant to thank you for making your post it really warms my heart to see you make an absolute **** of yourself without any assitance from me!
Many Thanks!!!Im now going to bed laughing! lol

It is but some maybe written that if perhaps you did and so inside of France or outside in it you would still be recognized as a crazed fruit loop, looney tunes, and much earlier!

You do realize that the comment of mine you responded to was about Velazco, don't you? He was not a world-beater.

Re Abraham - elite-level boxers are able to beat or, at least, be competitive with other elite-level fighters. Abraham was not. Multiple victories over a mediocre Stieglitz, at 168, isn't cutting it.

Miranda is probably Abraham's best win at 160 - and Miranda, in terms of impact on the 160 division, was a bit of a damp squib.

At 168, Abraham is likely one of the most nondescript boxers to hold a world title there.

When you start having to focus on attempts to diminish other boxers, in order to squeeze the object of your fandom into the mix, you should realize that you don't have much of a case.

My top 5 (in no particular order) would absolutely include Greb, Robinson, Monzon, Hagler, and Hopkins.
