    2. Jones is better than Hopkins I don't care how long they were both at middleweight.
    3. GGG no mention at all? Just because he's a modern fighter or what? He'd beat half the fighters a least in this thread in his prime.

    Nah. He got title shots and he lost them all. He wasn't champion because he wasn't quite good enough. He might be a top 10 all-time contender.

    His résumé isn't exactly on a level with Harry Greb. And half of his title defences were fake anyway.

    TBF the first 6 pages of this thread are from 2009. And in 2009 even the most ardent GGG appreciators could not justify that in reality. For today? I think he is in the conversation or will be, as I and many do not rate active fighters until they are retired. But a 10-15 spot I think he warrants future consideration and a place in the conversation at the very least.
