Such a tough division to rank. I especially struggle since I add a little more significant to h2h than most. So the invariable... Toney has better wins at MW, but to me, Roy was simple the better MW both at their best. So it becomes a little cloudy when ranking one higher than the other. Here is my ranking. I exclude P4P guys like Sam, Greb and Fitz. They are just too hard to rank and compartmentalize at this time. I did include Walker though.

Abraham did very little differently, from one round to the next. A modicum of success in spurts, here and there, is not going to win a round when, for the rest of his three minutes, he is being stymied, suppressed, made to miss (on the odd occasion an offensive attempt is made) and consistently landed upon by his opponent.

It was a fairly easy fight to score, as 120-108 to Carl Froch. There will always be the odd dissenter but, in this case, a 3 or 4 round variance would be excessive, to say the least.

 

By any rational standards it was a dominating performance by Froch and the score cards accurately reflected it as such!
