    Hi,
My current age is 33. In my past life (10-12 years) back, I were doing Martial arts and become Black belt in taekwondo and jKarate. I won state and national level championships in these (Even beat the person in national tournament who were get medal in the world champioships before), even in my childhood i start going to gym at the age of 10. But in past years when i start job i only done gym and running. Currently I can do 5000-5500 meters in 30 minutes and can lift upto 100 lbs of biceps and upto 350 lbs of leg press and within this range of weight all other body part exercises but my heartly desire is to become boxing champion. Can it be possible for me to start boxing and win championships (not small but world level competitions)?

This is weird, I was just going to start a thread about something similar.. Going to anyway.

Probably a bit late to start winning world championships.

  3. You can, but you are not going to be a world champion.

You need to pick up your pace a bit in running. 40 mins 8000m at least.

Weights won't help you and will harm your speed and flexibility , you need skill, get down a boxing club.

World champion? No. This isnt MMA or UFC. Where any college wrestling chump whos never been hit in the face in their life can get on TV after 5 fights.

Boxing is a brutal sport. And the weeding out system is even harsher. Many great olympians failed badly in the pros simply because they didnt have the genetic makeup to get hit for 30+ minutes.

I think it's late to start Boxing at that age so you would be better off doing MMA, you can use your Martial Arts experience such as Taekwondo & Karate from that.

  9. Skipping, plyometrics, bodyweight exercises would be good.

But you get down a boxing gym.

Time is against you, as you go past 30 you begin to slow down naturally, but if you don't give it a go you will never know.

Find a gym in your area and get down there.:bbb

I used to be a smoker and like to drink and party a little

what if I stopped all that and put in 100% i think I can be as strong any of them

I still think that the 19 yo kids coming up are just going to be to fast and to much stamina

IDK but I kinda want to try sometimes

Like Nike - Just do it!

If you love it and enjoy doing it - that will be an accomplishment within itself.
