With Alvarez, Usyk, and Crawford above him, what are his chances of getting to the top in the upcoming years? Each one of them represents huge challenge to overcome as it is. Additionally if... a) Terrence finds a way to get Spence in the ring and win. b) Usyk unifies the heavyweight (difficult with a giant gypsy in the way.) c) Canelo gathers the infinity stones in LHW. Bonus if he smashes Charlo and the 168 wannabies Benavidez and Andrade. .. it becomes even more difficult. Those are what I would call (more or less) best case scenarios for each one of them, but realistically not all of them are going to happen. In your opinion what are Naoya's chances of becoming the king? Or is bantam and feather, to which he could possibly move up, too devoid of quality, recognizable names for him to add to his resume? If those best case scenarios happen, can he realistically surpass their achievements?
In many ways, Inoue is already the P4P King. Inoue has been... 3 weight champion the most dominant hasn't had a single close fight (Donaire fight was competitive, not close) KO'd guys with both hands, to the body and to the head technical and brutal comes to fight and entertain
Inoue arguably is the P4P king, and more skilled than Canelo, Usyk, or Crawford. It's not his fault there aren't that many great fighters under 126 pounds.
H2H he’s up their with Usyk, Loma and Crawford but is far more dominant than any of them. Probably doesn’t have as good a resume as Usyk or Canelo but his is still very solid.
Beat Donaire again. I dont think he will beat casimero cuz casimero will prolly duck. Clean out 122, i dont see anyone who can really beat him. I think hes just too good. He makes quality opposition look horrible. An MJ knockout would send shockwaves throughout the boxing world. But there is a caveat, if Usyk beats fury and becomes the undefeated undisputed lineal champ at the HW... Anything anybody does might not be enough to go P4P. We're talking about a blown up middleweight beating 2 of the biggest quality HWs of all time. Thats P4P.
Not at his weight class! He has to move up and beat some top names! He's behind Canelo, Crawford, Spence, Usyk and Taylor.
Spence is ahead of him too. Once he beats Ugas and get that 3rd title. He's going after Crawford. If he beats Crawford to become undisputed at WW, then Spence will be p4p 1!
Only if his sheer ability carries up to 126. He would need to defeat: Casimero, Donaire, Fulton, Akhmadaliev, and then move up and have an undisputed 126 run. That'd (probably) make him undeniable #1 pound for pound and if he's dominant like he has been, put him in the all time GOAT conversation. So with amazing matchmaking he hasn't shown to be able to get, in 6-8 fights, he could still beat that out. Assuming he carries to 126.
