He’s got a lot to learn but I’m sure he’s taken some lessons after the Briedis fights on what he needs to improve. It’ll take him a couple years to unify cruiser so he’ll have all that time to learn and bulk up, build muscle before heading off to HW. He’s fast, skilled, and has good power. Dubois is gonna get KTFO by AJ so he’ll be out of the title picture for a while, Anderson is a scrub who can’t keep it together, and Jalolov is still trying for an Olympic gold so will have his career stalled once again. That’s the future of the HW division that Opetaia would have to beat. Maybe Kabayel could give Jai a run for his money though. The future of HW looks bleak once the old guard retires and Jai’s future still looks pretty bright.

This question has been asked a lot but the more I think about it the more confident I am in him. Holyfield had an even thinner frame early in his career with worse defense and less power. Haye’s chin wasn’t that great and his stamina was suspect but he still made some noise at heavy. Then you have even naturally smaller guys like Byrd and Ellis being good heavyweights. I don’t think Jai beats the top guys like Usyk, Fury, or AJ but can still win against most.
