I thought he beat Valuev even though that fight was difficult to watch. Could ruiz win a fight on points against either of the klitschkos? I don't think Wlad can knock Ruiz out, his style is too awkward and weird for him to get anything going imo

Of course not. Wlad and Vitaly are both about 15 000 000 levels above Valuev. IF Ruiz couldn't KO Valuev in one or two rounds than he has no business in the ring with either Klitscho.

Seriously - no, not a chance.

Ruiz lost to Chagaev and that was actually one of his better fights. We all saw what Wlad did to Chagaev, Vitali would obviously do the same. Ruiz is several levels below the Klitschkos. What advantage would he have? Size, power, speed, skills? I don't see any category in favor of Ruiz.

There's a reason John has clung to the coat tails of the WBA for so long....

Ruiz Vs Wlad would just be one big 12 round hug.

Of course, there is a chance. Klitchkos may get injured during the fight.

I never said he had any SPECIFIC skills over the klitschko's but the man finds a way to win fights even if it is dreadful for the audience to watch. Ruiz jabs and holds, how would Wlad deal with that?

not to say ruiz would win but it's happenened before. sammy angott had exactly one advantage over willie pep: he could cling like a mother****er. it worked like a charm. sometimes an awkward style can work wonders against a far more skilled fighter

OK, but the best that an awkward style has done against the Klit brothers was Byrd against Vitali and still Vitali landed twice as many punches before quitting due to injury. To beat the Klits, a much smaller fighter needs somethins special in their offensive arsenal. Sammy Angott wasn't facing someone 4 - 5 inches taller and 25 pounds heavier. The best an small, awkward figher without serious firepower and speed can hope for against the Klits is to survive in a boring fight like Iggy did.
