The kid is only 23 and was a huge prospect, but after a shaky fight against Pavel and getting worked pretty badly against Herrera his star has lost some shine. I think he is fun to watch, and can be near the top for a while, but not convinced he can become elite.
I thought Benavidez beat Hererra 7-5. He landed the harder cleaner shots. Hererra threw a lot of punches, but a lot of them hit the gloves and were some pitty patty shots. It was a close fight.
