Can Joseph Parker survive 12 rounds with Moses Itauma

He has been declared #1 against Warldey after Franklin.

And again and again--this is not about where he is at. It's about the rhetoric of what they say he wants vs the reality.

 

And Wardley is currently tied up in a title defence. He may want to go for Usyk, or have to take a 6 month break, or he may even lose.

It's unreasonable to expect Itauma to call out an opponent who hasn't got past their next mandatory defence of the title.

 

His fight and Wardley's are about a month apart. Boxer's schedules rarely sink so tightly. Fight is there if he wants it. We both know he won't.

 

Wardley might not be champion next month, so the fight isn't guaranteed to be there. How hard is that for you to wrap your head around? Even other posters have tried spelling this out to you.

Sanchez is fighting on the Usyk undercard in a month time, and what would beating Gassiev accomplish? Sitting on a mando spot behind multiple orgs isn't exactly a great plan, especially if you're planning on building your fighter.

Neither opponent is going to contribute to Itaumas development. They're not even contenders at this point, so why waste the time?

GASIEV IS WBA REGULAR, WHICH WOULD MAKE IN #1 FOR USYK. He wanted it when it was Puelv, and Warren was considering suing.

Where is this energy when your hero Usyk ducks mandatories to fight kickboxers?

Neither of those opponents actually present a good pathway for Itauma outside of sitting on a shelf that doesn't guarantee him a shot, and sits low on the list when the WBO and WBC are next to go.

In any case, wait until his next opponent before acting all outraged.

 

This isn't about Usyk. I think I see where you are at.

 

If you don't think Usyk is relevant when talking about pathways to titles then you need to start engaging your brain a bit more.

 

But Warren recently exclaimed he's NOT a prospect anymore. Itauma is also on record saying he's got a better skillset than Usyk.

He is a prospect, but him and his PR team are just dreadful.

 

As I have explained, all processes have worked, and will continue to do so, if Itauama will take it
