Well they haven't, because despite two mandatories and an extension Usyk never defending the WBO. He's off fighting a kickboxer instead for the WBC title defense despite Kabayel waiting as the mandatory.

Again, it'd be nice if you shared that same energy for your hero.

He gave up the WBO. Wardley is champ.

Usyk has to fight Kabeyal next, or he will be elevated.

    System has worked perfectly.

Whatever drugs your on I'm scared of.

Dropping a belt instead of facing your mandatory opponent is ducking.

Fighting a voluntary who is a novice above a mandatory opponent is ducking.

That's not the system working. It's broken, and this proves my point that Itauma trying to become a mandatory is a waste of time. He's better off letting his PR team make enough noise to entice Usyk into a money fight rather than actually following the "normal" process, which is quite frankly shameful. You have an issue with a prospects opposition not being up to standard? Chat to Usyk.

What about an option for - Yes but Itauma is not overrated?

I think Parker could take him 12.

I think Parker could very well beat him.

Not to say he is all hype but he hasn’t really fought anyone, we don’t know how his stamina and chin hold up

Would you say Uysk for whatever reasons has ducked Wardley?

Well it's not a duck because he surrendered the belt. Wardley certainly gets a lot of credit for being too high-risk, low reward. But Usyk "ducked" him the same as Lewis "ducked" Byrd and Ruiz, and I have always maintained that there were no ducks there.

But to be clear, credit to Wardley.

Idk, reeks of Riddick Bowe vibes to me when he quite literally dropped the belt in the bin rather than face Lewis.

Out of curiosity, if Itauma proceeds to fight a more dangerous opponent instead of Sanchez/Gassiev (not hard), will you still maintain it's a duck? It just feels like you're applying a very unfair standard to a prospect compared to the number 1 heavyweight in the division.

Can he survive all twelve? Yes, probably. Would he win? Unless Itauma's gas tank or chin is seriously flawed (and this very well could be the case), then probably not.

Maybe to an extent, but its not like Wardley is an outstanding candidate or challenger. Its kind of a pointless fight in Usyk's eyes unless the money is there. Uysk has beaten better fighters than Wardley...

However, if Wardley looks great in beating Dubois then we'll have a fight here most likely.

I tend to agree with most your comments here but on this one I don’t think it’s fair.
Called out usyk? Yeah he has said he wants to fight him, but he has to be aware that he has no place in jumping the ladder, after all Usyk has a Dutch kickboxer to fight in his first pro heavyweight boxing fight.
You are right that he was offered the Sanchez opportunity but it’s worth noting that he was risking his position with the wbo, which ment he was in a better position where he was that if he actually fought Sanchez and won.
The fact that theses are getting called ducks isn’t really true, but this is a kid building himself.
He is clearly very talented and the best young heavyweight I’ve seen in a long time (not claiming to be an expert).
But the sad thing is that I get the feeling that there’s a lot of people who have took their position on him and that will not change no matter who he fights or what he goes on to achieve.
If you can’t see the talent the lad has fine, but it’s pretty obvious the way his peers speak about him and the look in their eyes when they speak about him.
I don’t see any reason why he should be fighting Michael Hunter though, he doesn’t deserve a shot and his only relevance is that he’s an American heavyweight, hergovic would be the best option but he’s tied up with Allen, Ituma needs to stay active so he is limited by the availability of opponents.
The only ones I think he should avoid is Ruiz and Wardley, obviously Usyk but that’s not even possible to happen.

Did Parker get a ban? For getting on the chisel? Parker looked like he lost a lot of mobility against Wardley, so I think Ituma would smash him to bits.
