Yea your right lets forget about the fact that SIZE wise Juan has the bigger frame..Hatton has a half inch height advantage and Juan has a decent reach advatage...Also Juan is not a simpleminded wrestler..not sure if you've seen Juans fights..as any fighter that has tried to bulldoze Juan gets countered with Juans lateral movement and his unstoppable volume...the only way Hatton wins is if Juan is forced to fight one handed....

I've only seen Juan fight once, but I think that Hattons footspeed is good enough for him to get inside and beat the counter from what i have seen from both guys.

Very good balanced point. Anyone see the interview were he was asked about witter and he said you can never say never so maybe they will fight.

Watch the Jose Cotto fight...(it's Miguels brother)Jose was an undefeated top contender when they fought...It was a BRAWL...Juan threw 120 punches in the 12th round!!!! All this after taking considerable punishement himself the whole fight.....As I've said in previous threads I tried to like Hatton for YEARS wishing him the best but always let down by his bull**** dirty wrestling style..call it what you want but thats what it is...I'm sure he's capable of fighting he just doesnt...and after he recieved a gift against Collazo who I had as the victor winning 7 decisive rounds to Hattons 5 which a few could've gone either way I hoped for his demise...

haha fair enough, I must say I am a Hatton fan more for his personality than his fighting style. I'll check out that fight Jose/Juan fight too I never saw it.

I think the Hatton Witter fight will happen eventually, but RH-JD would be a *******. Hatton by UD 116-112.

Yeah 120 punches in the final round thats impressive but hatton will be the bigger guy and his body shots are devastating and if he gets into rythmn against diaz I can see it being a late stoppgae for hatton.

did you watch the fight then? i thought that cotto fought evreything but Juan Diaz just lands far to many punchs and powerfull punchs, juan diaz would expose hatton with quick straight jabs n uppercuts on the inside before hatton trys to hug! Juan diaz i think would win on points he would land far to many effective punchs on hatton which will catch judges eye which will make juan diaz a win on points

juan diaz looked sensational against the highly regarded julio diaz,it was the first time i saw him fight. My head tells me hatton overcomes dodgy moments early to win a tough decision
