Respect to Judah for taking on a dangerous puncher like Mathysse. This fight should show who wants to win more. Judah on his last breath and chance for glory, or the hungry lion Mathysse would wants a chance against the big names and be one himself. Dang Judah never picks the easy ones.
If Lucas's chin is as bad as Walter's he will be laid out by Judah. That is the big question in this fight.
He took a few flush shots from Harris, who was shot but did pack a moderate punch in his day and as the adage says "power's the last thing to go". I'm far more worried about Judah's chin - which we know can be cracked. Basically Judah has to bowl the Argentine over in the first few rounds and just overwhelm him with speed hoping to hurt him.
I'm not sure about this fight for the simple reason that I'm not sure about Matthysse. I've seen bits of him but, from what I've seen, I'm not sold and he could turn out to be a well matched fighter with a great record. That said, I don't rate Judah at all and if Matthysse is anywhere near as good as his record suggests, I think Judah will suffer another defeat. It is a massive step up though, even though I don't rate Judah. It's a tough one to call. We know all about Judah and his limitations but we've yet to see whether Matthysse is good enough to exploit them.
