Can Julian Jackson spark Hagler...

    In one shot? Just had a convo about this with my friend who is a HUGE Jackson fan. He insists that Jackson could KO Hagler in one shot at 160. I disagreed and think Jackson could get a KD but not a KO.

    So what do you guys think? At 160, if Jackson hits Hagler cleanly in the jaw could he knock Marvelous out?

    IMO, he certainly had the capability to drop Hagler on his ass, but i just cant see even the hawk knocking out hagler cold, no way.

    He would probably knock him down but not out. Hagler had a hell of a chin and tons of heart. He showed he could take a hellacious punch without getting knocked down in the Hearns fight. But since Jackson was more powerful than Hearns at 160 I think he could knock Hagler down.

    Well jackson would have a major problem taking Hagler shot because Hagler was a great boxer and had a great chin amnd could punch

    Do you know who Julian Jackson is??? Ever seen him fight???

    I don't see him dropped Hagler but he could def hurt him more then anyone else has in his career.

    That wasn't the question. The question was IF Jackson hits Hagler with his best shot will he knock him out? It's a yes or no answer.

    Yes he could. Anyone and I mean anyone who gets hit with the right shot, can get knocked out. Hagler was only human at the end of the day.

    It would have to be a hell of a shot though...

    He would shake him up with a flush shot, but wouldn't stop him or put him down IMO.

    hearns was a big puncher but he was a lanky long range puncher.

    hagler got under his nose to get him out of there before he got to him, and still was wobbled.

    julian loves inside fighting. using those short concussive hooks. hearns doesnt he likes to keep his man at range and when he comes in fire a right cross followed by a left hook to the body.
