hes bigger than canelo canelo thinking the weight drain will make it fair tonight junior will be bigger than him
I didn't say that. Just a general statement on the "Cherry pick gone wrong" comment that's used to cover your bases in case your first diss was wrong.
Yes although I expect the Ginger to win. I think people are downplaying Chavez JR here. He is a professional prizefighter with over 50 bouts to his name. He has fought a HOF'er in Martinez and a top 10 MW in Andy Lee. He's fought some other decent fighters like Vera, Zbik, Molina, Rubio and Fonfara. People here act like JCC Jr is just the son of JCC Sr and was never developed as a fighter and now is being thrown in there with Canelo. He is still a pro boxer and he has a chance to beat Canelo, whom he absolutely dwarfs and will outweigh tonight.
i love to watch canelo but i dont think so.. chavez is a game fighter and will come to fight but short of blowing canelo out with size and power i dont think chavez has what it takes to fight canelos fight down the stretch, the weight cut does not look TOOOO BAD but one can only assume it will effect him somewhat. compare that to canelo ? he was killing himself to make 155 lately and now has alot more breathing room weight wise. i think we will see a stronger canelo who has more in the tank because less drainage canelo TKO 11
jr. is a live dog. if he rehydrated correctly, i dont think canelo can ko him. if he keeps constant pressure on canelo, i think he can wear him down enough to create opportunities in the later rds. canelo is not a good enough boxer to completely negate the length, chin and strength of a well prepared chavez jr.
I think so, it's a possibility, I believe they were banking on Chavez Jr seriously struggling at the weight, maybe even missing weight, getting a hefty fine and then being completely dead at the weight. That's why they insisted on the 1lb = $1 Million fine, they wanted Chavez Jr completely ruined, so in my mind they wanted and felt they needed him drained. Why did they feel they needed Jr in that condition to beat him? Well missing weight didn't happen, he was actually 1/2lb inside, looked far better than I thought he would and will rehydrate to a fair old size. All that said Chavez Jr still might really struggle, we just don't know yet and won't know until he is fighting but so far so good. Chavez Jr's size and dimensions could cause Canelo some problems, also the added bulk on Canelo could cause him problems. I think they could have completely underestimated Jr's ambition, determination and also miscalculated the fact he would struggle badly at the weight. I think it would be a huge upset but I believe Jr is a live underdog.
