Can Junior Be A Cherry Pick Gone Wrong?

Chavez Jr's not a cherry pick. I don't know how someone who will out weigh you by 10 lbs on the night, who towers over you, who is known as a big puncher, a guy who essentially ended the MW king Martinez's career, can be seen as a cherry pick. I mean it's absurd to even say that.

 

Junior was clearly cherrypicked. So, yes.

 

Maybe cause he couldn't KO a smaller Cotto either or Mayweather Trout or Lara,KOs over Kirkland and Amir Khan aren't the stuff of legend are they and yet some would have you believe he's dangerous,he's also one of those who throws multiple combinations in training but never in the ring,bit of a bug bear of mine,Lomo shadow boxes like he does in the ring which kinda makes sense.

 

Max Fischer said it best. JCC JR has had success in the sport while only giving 70%. I think he's close to 100% for this fight.

I think Chavez' being as prepared as he is for this fight, and making the 164.5 pound limit, and even sparing half a pound to do it, shows you just how serious he took this fight. He will be dangerous for the whole 12 rounds, and I think chavez jr even hurts him at some point.

 

He isn't a big puncher. And I am pretty sure it was the athletic stye of Martinez mixed with knee injuries that ended Maravilla 's career.

Also, I think we will see both canelo and Jr at 180+ lbs fight night. But yes, Jr is taller.

 

This has cherry-pick gone wrong written all over it. Canelo has fought smaller guys his entire career and now he's fighting a big MW. If Chavez can drag this into the later rounds he is in with a chance, I expect him to take some punishment early though.

 

A cherry pick would have been Daniel Gelae, Andy Lee, Curtis Stevens.

Junior is a threat to anyone between 160-168.

 

I think Canelo is going to be exposed as Glass Jawed and having no heart. Canelo is used to fighting much smaller men.

 

I dont think that jr was cherry picked. This fight was a MUST. I had to happen, period.

 

Chavez will win, his size is going to caause fits for Canelo the power of JR will surprise Canelo good chance JR wins by TKO or KO

 

Just an observation but I seen videos of Jr rehydrating by eating ice cream and drinking sprite. Not sure if this is the right or wrong thing to do, just noticed it.

 

I have no confidence in Junior based on his past actions, I don't believe the hype, that being said Canelo would be wise to keep his back off the ropes

 

Wtf, we already know for a fact canelo has a very good chin and he's shown he has the heart to excel in this sport.

So canelo being KO'd in 1 would have to mean he got caught with a perfect shot, and even then exposed will never be associated with canelo.
