In my mind the main questions are 1) "Can Khan's arms stay plastered around his chin in the late rounds if Maidana has been beating them for 8+ rounds?" and 2) "Can Maidana stay close enough to Khan for the fight to tire him out?" I think khan can probably take a couple of his bombs...I mean **** the guy spars with Pacquiao so to me the real questions become about whether Maidana can stay in the fight long enough to wear Khan out. In a sense he will have to put on a Montiel v Hasegawa type performance to come away with this one, only he will have to stay close for a lot longer then Montiel had to.

    LMFAO...

Anybody think's Khan can take a "clean" shot off Maidana and still be in the ring is obviously dillusional. I'm not saying Maidana is the hardest hitter in the world, but he has more than enough power to put Khan away

well i count "in trouble" as in real danger of losing the fight. and i honestly cant forsee that occuring ever with maidana.

i hope it will be a competitive fight, but i just dont see it.

His punch resistance hasnt gone up. The only fighters hes faught with a decent KO rate since prescott is salita who sucks, and a shot to shite barerra.

Watch the prescott knock out. Theres nothing Roach can do about that. If he gets caught flush hes not getting back up.

Hell run all night and avoid getting hit. Theres still a good chance hell take this fight but I reckon Maidana will catch him.

I dont think it has, i belive it has but still need proof. Barrera hit him with one or two clean shots and his legs did buckle slightly, but he took the shots.

But he was soooo drained for his height fighting below 140. Time will tell. Being totally honest this still does not mean i think he can take a clean Maidina punch, no ones chin can improve that much. But i think it may have improved a bit.

But i dont think he will have to take one. Maidana is going to get his face jabbed off all night.

I think that we shall see. There's definitely no basis for those claims though, as he hasn't really been hit at the new weight yet. Something tells me that Maidana's power is going to be too much for him but we'll see...

I think Khan is a little more durable at 140 yes , new weight means nervous system reacts differently all the rest of it , that said if Maidana hits him flush then id have to say id fancy Khan to fall over .

What you have got to ask yourself is , can Maidan land effectively on Khan before Khan really brings the fight to Maidana , in rounds 9 through 12 , i see Maidana being battered and busted up , and if he doesnt get Khan out of there before then it could be a painfull night :deal

been watching maidana-ortiz and maidana-cayo. dis dude is for real. he definitely likes the big show. i think he is not getting the credit he deserves. if khan brawls at all, hes goin out.

It's a tough call, definitely most anticipated fight of 2010 for me, just because a khan ud and a maidana ko are both as likely as the other. more interesting than even the super 6 fights.

What people have to remember is that Maidana is a far bigger puncher at 140 than Prescott was at 135 in an absolute and P4P sense. Marcos is also better at delivering the punches than Prescott ever was. Once Prescott stepped it up against better boxers with decent chins he couldn't do anything to them. Mitchell took his shots and boxed his head off then Katsidis blew him away at 140 like he was nothing.

Maidana has beaten plenty of fighters who were better boxers because he always finds a way to land. I don't think Khan will survive a solid flush shot on his jaw which will land sooner or later. Khan is going to look scared at first then look like a million bucks right before he gets his lights put out.

The only guy that can equal or better him for offensive power is Ortiz and he already quit after a war against Maidana. Maidana hates Khan and that will provide the necessary motivation to pound him unconscious.

I have more chance of having a threesome tonight with Beyonce Knowles and Aishwarya Rai than Khan has of staying on his feet a flush punch from Maidana.

Khan could get seriously permanentyl hurt from this fight (possibly hospitalized) definitely Knocked Out cold!

Khan will try to run like Haye did from Valuev all night...though Khan doesn't have Hayes footwork, head movement or even brains.

Maidana will KO him within 7
