Can Khan take a Maidana Punch?

Yeah. Exactly. There's an expression in football (soccer) about goals: "They all count the same". Doesn't matter if they're scrappy, flukey, incredible, artless, elegant, accidental or beautiful; you still only get one goal.

Maybe I'm under-rating Khan. A lot of reports say that he's very obedient when listening to Roach. He needs to be in this fight. That ego-thing has tripped up more accomplished fighters than Khan, though; he needs to be careful.

 

Not sure to be honest, although I suspect not if he gets hit clean, cause as bad as Maidana looked against Corley, he hurt Corley multiple times, but then again, we dont know how significantly better, Khan's chin might be at a more comfortable weight, although I suspect he never had a particularly good chin as he has been down in the amateurs to.

I think Khan can keep it long and use Maidana's considerably slower footwork against him by using his legs and asking him to cut the ring down. I would not be surprised to see Khan get hurt, but I envisage Maidana losing the first half of the fight and Khan just having done enough to weather any potential late onslaught and make it to the finish line.

 

I'm pretty damn positive that if Maidana lands a clean one on Khan it will put him to sleep. If not completely out, he'll be seriously damaged.

Khan has the ability to box and keep Maidana away, but if he gets cocky and wants to trade, Maidana has the ability and power to put him away.

Nope, but can Maidana hit em cleanly? I hope so, maybe Khan will get cute and try to bang with him, but Roach has probably coached him up to not to get into a firefight with someone with a much larger gun.
