Can Kovalev be an ATG?

ATG at LW or overall? If he stays undefeated, unifies the belts then moves up to CW and makes some noise there then it's Hall of Fame for sure and possibly more.

Hmm... based on his age he will need to keep fighting top guys on the regular.

I could also see him getting ko'd and would want to see how he handles it. He has tons of talent but may be 1 bad matchup from a brutal loss.

 

yes I don't see why not.he's already got a win over a first ballot hall of famer in hopkins a dominant win too.he beats stevenson becomes undisputed champion then he needs a long reign as champ.

Yes, I think so. He's a little old but there are fantastic boxers who would boost his historical status by a lot, namely:

- Stevenson
- Ward
- Froch
- Pascal
- Any CW champ

I think 175 is a very good division to be in. I don't see him beat Ward but he I give him a shot against the other 3. However, I'm not sure how he'd fare at CW as I perceive him as a little chinny, I might be wrong though.
