Can Kovalev be an ATG?

    i'd say so. i don't think he was ever on american tv once. thus under rating him.

    Thats a shame as they would have not got to have seen a great fighter.
    I wonder if Germany got to see Roy Jones when they were both active LHWs?

    Problem I foresee is a lot of guys avoiding him

    If Stevenson never fights him all the top guys may go that route to a title and leave Kovalev to fight second tier guys

    The version I have of his fight against Virgil Hill had American commentary. In fact, it was Teddy Atlas. I've no idea if he was shown live over there at the time though.

    It might have been broadcast on a tiny little channel that gets about 3 viewers. lol. Either way, Michalczewski is very underrated by many, particularly by Americans. I know for a fact that Roid Jones was absolutely terrified of him. :good

    How long is Beterbiev gonna be able to continue to make 174.

    Kovalev is a big LHW.
    Beterbiev is HUGE.

    My guess is that in 2 yrs time, Beterbiev is gonna be forced to move up. And he'll have to do what he can within that span if he's gonna catch up to Kovalev, who will undoubtedly be busy with mandates, especially if Stevenson decides to commit suicide. :think

    I just can't see them continuing to drain him down to 174, which in fact, he's NEVER even fought at.:think
