"he wanted to go rounds"??? is that what you are going to say? because he could have easily gone 8 rounds or so with a great like hopkins and then finished him(dont u think it would have been a feat to be the first to do so)....but the truth his kovalev couldnt finish a guy that will be soon collecting social security

 

It's true that Ward handled Froch with ease and made Froch miss time his punches but that said Kovalev is not is Froch,yes BHop survived through twelve but he was knocked down also and afterwards was purely in survival mode.
My mind says Kovalev via stoppage but my heart says Ward can box circles round Kovalev and avoid getting hit,thing is Ward has slowed up so that's fanciful thinking I reckon lol.

 

You're ignoring the fact Hopkins stopped trying to win the fight after being knocked down. He didn't try anything offensively from there on out until the final round and guess what? He was on the verge of being stopped then too.

I have no doubt Ward could ensure he hears the final bell by being negative and letting Kovalev dominate but wtf would he do that? He'll have designs on winning the fight and to do that he's going to have to open himself up to a level of risk that Nard didn't. He has a great chance of winning this fight, there's just an equal chance in my mind of him being KTFO.

Who did Rahman KO that was as good as Lewis, before he KO'd Lewis? Or Buster Douglas and Tyson for that matter. Who did Juan Manuel Marquez KO that was as good as Manny Pac before he blitzed him? Had Tarver KO'd anyone as good as RJJ before he knocked him out cold? You get it....I HOPE....
