AT LHW Stevenson is one of the biggest champions in the division. His KO power also leads the pack.
If Andre Ward is the best boxer in the division, then Adonis "Super-Man" Stevenson has got to be the division's hardest puncher.

Aganist his recent fight with Thomas Williams, Stevenson scored a perfect KO landing a short compact but explosively powerful left hook on the jaw of Williams.
No other LHW champion gets KOs like Stevenson.

Stevenson faced a hungry young lion, 12-15 years his junior. It was an exciting fight, while it lasted.
It was the kind of fight Golovkin fans dream about one day GGG being in. Kovalev too. Kov is hoping his upcoming Ward fight will be a classic.

    After Ward, there is Stevenson.
Stevenson and Kovavlev are at approx. the same age. We've seen them both get hit, especially Kovalev whose recent fight with Issac Chilemba showed how venerable Kovalev is to count punching opponents with slick head and foot movement like Chilemba and Stevenson.

Kovalev will have to deal with Stevenson's footwork and south paw style while avoiding get hit with Stevenson's, "Good night Irene" demolition wrecking ball left, and right hand jab.

Kovalev - Ward is a big fight that everyone wants to see, but the real fight for LHW king bragging rights is the winner of Kovalev-Ward facing Stevenson.
    Now that's a big fight!

no and im a huge kovalev fan but if he ate flush left hands from stevenson.

but listen up, stevenson has a **** jab and no hook. kovalev will control him with the jab, and will hurt him the right hand.

    kovalev will break him down.

Stevenson KOs Kovalev if they fight now. Kovalev can't handle that speed, he doesn't want any of Adonis.

The question should be the other way around as its Stevenson who has had chin problems in the past

AT LHW Stevenson is one of the biggest champions in the division.

    Whats that mean?

I'd say a flush bomb from either guy ends it. Stevenson hits so hard and his left is so quick and accurate he could do it. But I think kovalev is too smart to fall for the one punch

Bad post again by one of the forums known trolls. There is so much wrong in that post, its

As for the question, Stevenson hits really hard and I believe he can hurt anyone he hits flush.

He would put Kovalev on the canvas for sure, with that left hand and possibly turn out his lights. Kovalev is a tough guy so it is hard to say for sure, if he'd be KOd. But, I do think Stevenson hits harder than Kovalev.

I think either one could turn out the lights of the other.

Kovalev is the better all around boxer and while Chilemba was tricky he nullified most of what Chilemba could do and dominated him. Chilemba was a live dog but only for half of the fight but he also does not have any power.

People call Stevenson a one trick pony and he has looked that way in the past but I think it is mostly because he hasn't had to go to another level as that one trick he does really well. In his last fight he showed he could listen to his corner and when he turned it up with vicious body attacks he showed he still carries that power in close with speed and accuracy.

The fight is exciting and hopefully we do not have to wait until both are completely past it.

Stevenson is definitely more than a 1 trick fighter. He has many variations and variety using his left and he does have a good jab and right hook, but doesn't use it as often as we'd like.

Stevenson is the definition of a Kronk fighter. If Stewart were still alive Adonis Stevenson would probably be unbeatable.

Stevenson definitely hits hard. I could see him knocking Kovalev out. But imho Sergei is a better boxer and would pick him apart.

Sure, Stevenson can KO anyone he lands flush on. But...can he land it on Kovalev before his lights get turned out?

OK. But, against the same caliper of opponent? Thompson is a pretty tough guy. And he can hit hard too. He had Stevenson dazed at one point I thought.

Kovalev's jab does not compare to Stevenson's left hook. That is lightning in a bottle.
