I think this is an even fight. Maybe Canelo slight edge.

    Canelo's skills are far superior

At least he would fight someone he won't outweigh by 10 pounds on fight night.

Be a good fight. I think Canelo's class would tell but Lemiuex is a definite live dog.

Canelo UD in a very good fight.

I think Canelo would take over after an exciting start

Everyone knows Lemieux is taylored made for a terrific counter puncher like Canelo. DL's overly agressive style would be getting him countered by Canelo hooks and uppercuts until a likely stoppage.

Canelo has issues with fighters using their legs to skip around the ring not fighters who come to him.

Ya when khan was dancing around for the first 3-4 rounds, he made canelo look like an amateur out there. Give khan more power and stronger combined with his known speed and that fight would've went the distance. Dude made canelo look like a turtle lol. Kinda embarassing in the first few rounds to see canelo miss wildly lol.

Good fight. Canelo should test the waters with a strong puncher like him at 160. More 155 fights is unacceptable.

Maybe. But Canelo is just patient, he stuck to the same and found his range.

I reckon Lemieux would rough him up. DL is a lot more dangerous than people think.

Good prediction and a fight surely to be made when Golovkin relinquishes his 5 world MW title to move N after the 168-175 fighters. :think

Does anyone remember Judah schooling FLoyd for the first 4-5 rounds of their fight?

This is why fights are scheduled for 12 rounds. The best fighter usually comes out on top at the end.

Lemieux walks right through his pitty pat punches and brutally KO's him.

Lemieux is a good counter puncher himself. His fight game is in the inside. It would be an interesting fight. A fan friendly fight. Canelo seems more crafted but Lemieux is not bad himself considering his short arms. Those short arms, with GGG great jab, give Lemieux a nightmare. Canelo has an ok jab but nothing compare to GGG.
