Can Lemieux hit GGG with the same shots Monroe and Murray did?

GGG breaks him down. I see Lemieux going down at least 2 times in the first 4 rounds. Ref probably waves it on in the 5th after Lemieux gets battered again and goes on jelly legs.

Nah. It's going to wind up looking like a typical GGG fight, much like May-Pac turned into a typical Floyd fight.

Lemieux will have a chance for 2 rounds if it goes that long, but after that I suspect GGG will have figured out the extent of his abilities and proceed accordingly. I really do think this can be a quick blow out, and a 90% chance that if that happens, Golovkin being the victor.

How could you tell? According to compubox (however reliable they are), Golovkin's punch output increased the longer the fight went on.

If there's a knockout, it'll always live up to my expectations. :)

You could visibly tell GGG was getting winded around the 4th, I don't think he trained as hard as he usually does for that match coupled with him actually engaging and trying to make it an exciting he got wore out a little, but he'll train well for this one. BTW Even though he was gassed a little he still looked great against Willie.

He definitely appeared to be breathing hard and slowed down from what I recall. But I don't always put much stock into fighters looking winded. Guys like Vitali Klitschko looked winded to me after a round or so in most cases, but he always seemed to have plenty of gas in the tank. So looks can be deceiving.

But I did think he looked like he was taking a bit of breather in there for a stretch.

You never know though, cuz most of the times, when people expect a knockout between two decently good fighters, it doesn't happen!!

Wilder/Stiverne- No one thought it would go to a decision

Garcia/Matthysse- No one thought it would go to a decision

Maybe this will be one of THOSE fights where GGG has to go the full 12.

True, but Lemieux may only need to be accurate once or twice to change the fight.

Golovkin gets careless against guys with no real power. Against Stevens he was a lot more careful, and I expect the same approach against Lemieux. Taking Lemieux lightly and playing games with him, will result in a team of surgeons untwisting Gennady's head.

Rosado had a draw with Stevens. Curtis scored a flash KD.
N'Dam dropped Stevens and shut him out.

Rosado was beaten senseless and stopped by Lemieux.
Hassan was beaten senseless and dropped 4 (5 unofficially)times by David.

    :think .....Yeah........Stevens doesn't hit harder than Lemieux.:deal
