In general though, it's easier to land with lead power shots if you're fighting a guy using the opposite stance.

russell has been fighting slow stationary targets. lomachenko is not a slow stationary target. the fight will be interesting.

I think he can, he'll do a Pacquiao on Russell, go in and out with combos.

Loma should beg Oscar to open the keys to his vault and hand him the blueprint. The keys should have the word jab tagged to it

If Loma had an established jab, I think he would make GRJ look pedestrian... BUT since he doesn't and won't likely develop one any time soon it looks like Loma will need to do something outside his comfort zone like bully and smother Russels speed. I see it as a close fight where both look amatuer and GRJ wins.

GRJ will outwork Loma to a UD win. Loma isn't active enough to beat GRJ.

GRJ 26-0 vs. Loma 1-1, and they had to twist GRJ's right arm to make the fight.:rofl

I think Loma stops him with a body punch. He is one of best body punchers I have seen in many years.:deal:bbb

I've see a lot of Lomachenko's fights, he has a really good jab, great body puncher, counter-puncher, etc............

It's going to be a tough fight to pick.

Lomachenko's offense is questionable. I've said this many times in the past. His jab is below average and he still doesn't know how to set up his offense effectively yet. He need to leave his father and work with Roach.

I take Evgeny Gradovich to beat both of these guys fairly easily.

I agree that Lomachenko should hire a good trainer, but keep his father in the corner, perhaps Roach, but he does need a good trainer. I think he still knocks Russell out though............

Some of these guys just stick with their poor ol' trainers until it's too late. I bet it will be like that with Lomachenko too. :-(
