I think Lopez is good enough and tough enough to hang with Ortiz but not beat him. Even if he does doubt he get the dec.

Ortiz is coming off of a Knock out Loss, his fight prior to that he was knocked down twice the kids chin is there to be shattered, if Lopez catches him in the right spot shits going to get real funny

You think he has the power to do that? I know Lopez stopped Dallas Jr. but he doesn't seem like a banger.

No doubt, but by Lopez? Maidana and Berto both have real power and he kept getting up when they but him down.

Have you seen Dallas jr fight, he's not that good and he's not that hard to KO.

Maidana knocked him down with slaps with virtually no punching technique on them.

Mayweather knocked him the **** out with a two-piece (yeah, yeah, sucker punch, whatever...bottom line: out cold with two shots, and almost out on his feet/deer in the headlights after the first)

Not the full fight just the highlights. You mean Lopez or Dallas?

Maidana slaps HARD though! The Floyd KO didn't look good but I give him the benfit of the doubt he wasn't braced fof the punches.

He has a lot of talent, and looked terrific last night (although Castro isn't a very formidable opponent). When Lopez beat him he had some flaws and didn't have the best mental approach to the game, but he seems to have worked on them and come back with a new attitude.

I wouldn't count him out altogether just yet.

Maidana does have heavy hands, and so does Berto, but the fact is they were both able to weaken Ortiz's legs with shots that weren't perfectly turned over (because Maidana and Berto both have absolute **** for punching technique)

The one time we've seen a good technical boxer who wasn't badly outsized by Vic land FLUSH well-turned-over shots on him...was when Mayweather knocked him out with that perfect 2-piece.

He's ok as long as he fights C Level fighters but as soon as he starts fighting the Better fighters he won't be around long.

I make alot of money betting fights and I have a list of fighters that I follow and Really like and he is not one of them.
