I don´t know. Manny has been as high as 150 and at the age of 38, dropping 15 pounds might be too much, especially since he hasn´t done so in over a decade. But if Manny truly needs to eat so he can stay at 147, then i believe he could do it.
He'll no, like Pimp C said, he'd be a dead man walking at that weight. Maybe 140 would be more realistic.
He could if he drained like fighters do currently... but when you're old and have spent your whole career not draining but fighting bigger men in a weight class too high then suddenly draining weight would make him feel like death and fight terribly. That's the great respect you have to hand to fighters like Floyd & Pac...they didn't drain their asses off their whole careers.
I'd much rather see Pac v Crawford at 140. Dropping two weight classes, no matter how easily he makes 147, doesn't seem advisable at 38.
"What's good for the goose ,is good for the gander" For years people dumped on Manny for draining Oscar,Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and bringing up 140 pound guys like Bradley,Rios, and Algieri. Maybe we see the fight with Loma and it' competitive or it's Pac vs ODLH 2 with Manny getting the lethal lefts. Bang, bang, bang!!!!
