He will be if he fights and beats Money May. Otherwise, not a chance. Sparring match against Mosley and his reluctance to put forth an effort are gonna cost him. I paid 10$ for this fight and to be honest, that will be the last time I watch a Pacman fight live. The other 5 friends don't want to watch boxing after this, they are switching completely to MMA. I know 5 people isn't a lot, but Manny contributed to a loss of boxing fans. The only argument I could make for boxing was the Arce fight, it was the saving grace of that sorry ass night.

I dont think Pac will be in the running this year. Pac v Mosley was god awful with both guys looking terrible, it was a fight where everyone lost. Especially the fans. So basically Pac is going to need an amazing fight to even have a chance, I cant imagine theres not going to be another elite fighter that'll have two really great fights this year.

 

I'm putting all my eggs in the Ortiz bandwagon for this year. With smart matchmaking it can happen.

I'm thinking Donaire also. Only way Pac can take it is if he fights the fights people actually want. Marquez is fine, but Shane alone is a definite NO.
