Can Margarito ever redeem himself?

if he keeps winning people will forget what he did as time goes forward, there would be the odd statement about his hand wraps, but they would also be discussing his chin, and performances in fights.

to gain respect
he needs to beat up someone people want to see beaten
and then show his gloves to camera, and hand wraps
but no one would fight him now anyway

it will be tough. with one on one combat being the unique nature of the competition in boxing (as opposed to any other sport), to wrap your hands like that is probably the worst form of cheating across the entire athletic spectrum.

i mean, is there a way to cheat in any other sport that would rival wrapping your hands before you step in the ring to beat on another man's head?

i mean...looking at it from an American sportsman's perspective: football, baseball, golf, tennis, hockey, basketball, wrestling (real wrestling mind you), track, etc. What form of cheating in any of these sports could have as devastating consequences and what margo did?

 

well i'm glad Margarito has got some **** on these previous posts (although some a little extreme) because he has always been a boxer that boxing fans and media like to lick his ass, which is why he didn't get the public slaying he deserved when this came out (imagine if this had happened to Amir Khan or PBF) they would have ordered the death penalty

There is no way that a boxer would not know if a trainer was putting plaster into his wraps, lets not kid ourselves HE KNEW and he HAS done it before especially the cotto fight which has for me robbed Cotto of an even better career

He should be banned from all boxing for life and face criminal charges an UTTER DISGRACE

If Shane was loaded then it was by accident where as Margarito knew exactly what he was doing! He passed a lie detector test and thats good enough for me.

**** HIM, his next fight should have been behind bars! I will never ever watch him again and if a station puts his fight on I may send in a letter of protest and boycott.

 

Shane has never confessed or been caught with anything. In fact he is suing the individual who made those allegations. Besides it is always that scumbags fans who bring up that crap trying to cloud the issue. We are Talking about that A$$hole who could have killed someone!
