Marquez also happened to look very good against a good bigger counter puncher recently. So don't bet your house on Floyd

hatton's a warrior but marquez is a smarter fighter and a much better technician than hatton. marquez is also faster.

i dont think many people would have ranked hatton above marquez before the floyd fight.

Marquez can't win. Mayweather is formidible enough , but to give up every physical advantage to Floyd makes Juan's hill a whole lot harder to climb.

I guarantee you Marquez is no Hatton, he is much smarter and more effective.

He may not win, but I believe he will come to fight. I think he will bring out the best in Mayweather.

This fight gonna be explosive, I cant wait to watch it on Sky Sports 1!!!!

The people who say this is a total mismatch please reveal yourselves so i can laugh when u ask for the link to the replay>

Anythings possible but he's a huge underdog with good reason. I'm surprised by how much some people have read into the 24/7 series.

He can, but that chance is extremely small imo.

No ... and its not because of his size, style, or abilities ... its because his attitude doesn't seem that of one who's extremely confident on winning the fight. He has the same attitude as Hatton did before he fought Mayweather.

That maybe i'll win attitude doesn't fly with me ...

You can also tell by the way his trainer is behaving that there is doubt within his camp. They are aware that Marquez will make it a good fight but they're in serious doubt to rather he could win.

I see this being a potential build up of a fight between he and Pacquiao and not so much about beating Mayweather.

They're preparing for a fighter who doesn't come around that often ... they shouldn't be sparring with fighters who can "immitate" his style or resemble him in sparring because thats as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack.

What they should be doing is focusing on mid fight adjustments and adapting to the pace that Mayweather brings ... because he may be fast but he doesn't fight at a fast pace.

The counter isn't going to work with him because of his superior awareness ... the thing is to let go and fight your fight and when things aren't working move on to plans b, c, and d.

You know Floyd is going to adjust, counter his adjustment with your own _

When he fought Hatton, he adjusted so many times .... he started off with the check left hook ... then he started throwing the straight right hand ... then he went to jab ... then he finished off with the check left hook.

Marquez will have to show more dimensions than just what he brings to the table ... and I noticed as well that he gets hit more now that he's ever been ... and his movements are robotic.

This is going to be a great fight while it lasts !!

Floyd can change up in mid fight easy. I like the way he adjusted his defense in the Judah fight. Judah was so timid letting his hands go b/c he was getting countered silly when earlier in the fight he was the counter puncher landing the harder shots.
