    marquez-odlh at 147?

pre pac-odlh: odlh would kill marquez by a jab. lol

post pac-odlh: odlh cant pull the trigger anymore. he was even on an IV just to rehydrate himself. even marquez would ktfo oscar inside 5.

Marquez was dropped 3 times in the first rounds, he still manages to get a draw.

Pacquiao gets a decision in which the majority think Marquez deserved.

All these fantasy match ups with Marquez fighting at welterweight, in which everyone knows he cant fight at, wont change those 2 facts.

marquez has a good shot against the dela hoya pac faced. i highly doubt he makes dela hoya quit though. it was the onslaught that made oscar quit early.

oscar took the fight thinking he would be able to KO the little guy no matter what....if he was weight drained, its on him, he called the shots...

oscar's strategy was not to outsize and outweigh pacman but come in light to be able to maintain his speed. remember, oscar had 3 full months to train but simply understimated pacman and paid dearly for it. pacman stuck to his gameplan ie in and out and avoid the dreaded left hook of oscar.

Considering what Forbes did to DLH + the weight and dehydration issues, JMM could have won that fight.

But not in the devastating manner Pac did!

Didn't Oscar made welterweight one month before the fight. Does it mean he was dehydrated for a month?

Nope style makes fights. MAB is more competitive with JMM than against Pac. Also at higher weights JMM is slow and bloated. Pacquiao fights at a faster pace, that makes Oscar uncomfortable, against JMM Oscar can set his punches more comfortably.

Marquez is too small for Welterweight and has slowed down in recent years. The guy should retire, he's nothing left to prove. He proved he is a better boxer than Pacquiao in my eyes, but if he tried to fight Pacquiao now, Pacquiao would knock him out.

It was only a draw because of a scoring error by one of the judges giving Pac a 10-7 instead of a 10-6 1st round. That is fact.
