I'd venture to say yes... and seeing as how Mayweather is naturally the bigger man here it wouldn't surpise me if he were just as quick as Mayweather in this fight.

Can't say for sure, But he prob will be used to even the fastest speed's @ 147lbs.
(Having fought @ the lighterweights for 90% of his career)

Well he has been fine with Pac and Diaz so I'm guessing he'll be ok. May has longer arms too - so the punch travels for longer...!

i would say no, marquez power imo is better when he goes up in weight, but i think he has slowed a bit at lightweight, thats only IMO....marquez should come in at 143-144 on fight night if he wants to have speed.

That might have to do more with his advanced age than the added weight. Which is another factor to look out for here... Marquez has been a top fighter for a long time even well into his 30's, but you just have to wonder when he'll hit that wall and begin that inevitable old age decline. Will it happen in this fight? Hmm, I don't think anyone can say for sure.

I don't know. Is this his "natural weight"? Is he just NOT sucking weight and strict dieting anymore? This isn't like he is "bulking" up beyond his natural weight. If he is simply just NOT losing weight anymore then his speed should not suffer.

I have NO IDEA why ANYONE would vote yes here. It's obvious and blatant that he lost speed moving from 126 to 135, then why the hell wouldn't he lose speed going from 135 to 143?

Marquez hit his 30's bye the time he moved up from 126 and beyond so you could expect that slight decline in speed. Like I said before, it probably had more to do with age and not the added weight.
