    At 147? No.

He might make it close with Clottey because of Joshua's inactivity. However, Clottey has decent hand speed and pretty accurate when he does throw. But in the end, Clottey wins UD.

Margarito and Cotto would 187 JMM.

That being said, this discussion is POINTLESS. And anyone defending JMM vs these 3 welters are idiots too.

JMM chances with Pac has nothing to do how well he does against these 3 fighters. JMM's chances are there because of the stylistic and historical factors.

Also, the weight size between JMM and Pac is not as big as JMM and the other 3 welters.

I also think Pac would win by TKO this time in the mid rounds. But how JMM do with these 3 big welters has little to do how well he can do vs Pac.

Pacquiao v Katsidis would be great whilst it lasted though!

Margarito weigh in when he fought Mosley and Cotto were 145 and 146, respectively..
Margarito weigh in at 150 against Pacman….if Margarito weight drained against Pacman then what did you call Margarito condition when he fought Cotto and Mosley weigh in 146 and 145,respectively????
Margarito was the one who gained the advantage as he added +5pound of pure muscles and 17pounds weight advantage at fightnight aside from 5inch height and 6inch reach advantage against Pacman…his weight helps keep him from standing…..
Cotto weigh 145 when he fought Pacman.
Cotto weigh 146 when he fought Clottey…1 pound difference?Big deal?
    No signicant difference…..
Golden boy fight was held at 147…Not a catch-up weight…Both of them agreed at that weight at WW…..and Golden boy prepared for that as he hired his own nutritionist to track his weight condition

This for sure with margarito just because of the way he fights, cotto and clottey would beat him soundly but have different styles, cotto is more of a boxer counter puncher and clottey is a more defensive style. There all to big for JMM that is just a reality

    Typical JMM fan boy logic.

    JMM-Pac was only good because:

    1. Pac wasn't on his prime yet, and;
    2. They fought at a weight, 10-17 LBS BELOW PAC's COMFORTABLE WEIGHT CLASS. (That's the Jr Lightweight class, FYI).

Tell me, are you all cry babies or just all neglect the fact that Pac was only half of who he is back then and *gasp* that Pac is a welterweight now while JMM hit his ceiling at lightweight?
Or that JMM once attempted to jump at 144 to fight Floyd and the result was...
Well, the only noteworthy event on the fight against Mayweather was this:

    And that's it.

Hush now, don't cry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
Please go ahead and wear a t-shirt that says "JMM beat Pacquiao twice" if that should make you feel better.:thumbsup

    No disrespect to JMM.
He's a true warrior and an excellent combination-counter puncher.
A HoF to its truest sense.
But he's nowhere near Pac's level now.
AND HE'S NOT A FREAKING WELTERWEIGHT. (what do we need to do to make you fanboys understand that?)
Just accept that and move on.
